A cleaning quote: per visit or per hour, how often, and who has the key.

Someone wants a price for a three-bedroom with a dog, every second week. You can't price it until you know what they want done, how often, and how your cleaner gets in.

A price for a home you haven't seen

The request lands on a Sunday night: a room count, a photo of the kitchen, "how much?"

The detail

Otto replies for your cleaning company, asks for what your price list needs, and books a walk-through if your rules want one. Then it drafts the quote and holds it for you. The first clean and the regular visits are different jobs, so they get different prices.

Price a home you know per visit.

The detail

Price a first clean, a move-out or a home after a reno per hour, with your best guess at the hours written on the quote: nobody knows how long it takes until someone has done it once.

A cleaning quote you can copy

Paste it into your own document, fill the brackets, and delete any line you don't offer.

WCB went up for cleaning companies this year

WCB-Alberta's 2026 rate for janitorial and cleaning services is $2.30, up 15% from $2.00 in 20251. Rates are per $100 of assessable earnings2.

Example

On $100,000 of cleaners' wages a year: $100,000 × $2.00 ÷ $100 = $2,000 in 2025; $100,000 × $2.30 ÷ $100 = $2,300 in 20261.

The detail

A per-visit price set last year absorbs the $300 difference ($2,300 − $2,000) quietly. A quote with a review date doesn't.

What stays your call

  • Every price, the first quote and any change after it, waits for your yes.
  • Otto never agrees to a lower rate, or lets a lockout or late-cancel charge go.
  • It never promises a cleaner by name, or a time that isn't open on your schedule.
  • The access notes go in that home's record, for the cleaner booked there.
